Plasma cutting
Plasma cutting
Plasma cutting is a modern technology suitable for cutting electrically conductive materials.
This process uses a concentrated arc in which a high-temperature plasma column melts and removes the material being cut from the incision site. Plasma cutting can cut all electrically conductive materials. Plasma uses compressed air.
Efficiency and high cutting speed
Plasma can cut from 1 to 50 mm thick materials. High cutting speed (5-7 times faster than oxygen cutting) and time efficient (no preheating required). Only minor permanent deformations can be achieved due to high plasma arc concentration.
